The Department for Employment and Learning has launched a campaign to raise awareness amongst employers of its ApprenticeshipsNI programme.
ApprenticeshipsNI is a work-based training programme designed around the skills needs of employers that leads to recognised qualifications for its apprentice(s). It can help your business by offering a route to harness fresh new talent or to train an existing employee.
The contribution made by your business in providing opportunities to apprentices is vital in helping equip the workforce with the practical skills and qualifications that your organisation will need now and in the future.
There are over 11,000 apprentices employed across a diverse range of occupations in Northern Ireland. Their employers understand the benefits that apprentices bring to their business, including:
