Social Enterprise Hub Programme

The Social Enterprise Hub Programme aims to encourage and facilitate development and growth of the social economy within the Western Social Investment Fund Zone.

Any individual, community or voluntary sector group that has a social ethos may be eligible for support and assistance through this programme.

There are various elements of support to the programme including:-

  • Social Enterprise Taster Sessions
  • Idea Generation Sessions
  • Networking and creation of buddy linkage systems
  • Business Drop-in clinics
  • Mentoring and action planning
  • Free space within retail premises in Strabane or Enniskillen to test-trade the product/service for a period of six months
  • Hot Desk facilities
  • Meeting rooms
  • Virtual office – use of internet, printer, copier, phones, etc.

The Social Enterprise Hubs Programme is one of the OFMDFM Delivering Social Change Signature programmes and is part-funded by the Department for Social Development (DSD) along with the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI).
