Can you describe your business?
Fifo Capital is a respected provider of business finance solutions. Our speciality offering is bespoke finance solutions to businesses requiring £10,000 to £500,000 shortterm facilities. Fifo Capital operates now for more than ten years with 50 plus franchised offices located throughout Australia and New Zealand – and now we are expanding our success to the UK and Ireland. My role is a master franchisee of Fifo Capital UK & Ireland and I am currently establishing relationships with franchisee partners who thrive on business.
Why did you start your own business?
For ten years, I have been working for a few businesses across different industries. There was a point in my life in 2006 when I felt that I had an opportunity to take charge of my career and start living to my full potential. I always had an interest in business management and felt that I was capable of running my own business and able to support people that are on the same journey as I am.
What are the best things about running your own business?
The best thing about running Fifo Capital is helping people to start their own business and help them to flourish. I have the knowledge and expertise in many areas that can help and support them on their journey.
What are the main challenges facing the business?
The main challenge facing my business at the moment is growing at a quick enough pace across Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England to support the demand for our products.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
I believe that if you have the right values in life, and if you are truly passionate about running your own business, I would suggest just do it. I would also advise starting with a long-term goal that will make you feel excited every time you think about the future.
