CE Marking Compliance Seminar

Invest NI will host a CE marking compliance seminar in May 2017

The seminar will focus on CE marking for mechanical engineering. The course is based primarily on the Machinery Directive, which places requirements on manufacturers to ensure that their products, when supplied, are safe. The directive applies to a range of products, from industrial machines to domestic appliances.

If you sell or manufacture a product that must comply with the Machinery Directive, this Invest Northern Ireland seminar will help you understand your legal obligations.

It will help you to determine the route to CE marking compliance that is most appropriate, cost-effective and efficient for your product.

The course will be interactive and participative, with opportunities for discussion. On completion, you should:

  • gain an understanding of the statutory requirements
  • understand technical requirements and interpret compliance standards
  • be able to apply risk assessment techniques relevant to CE marking
  • understand the CE marking process and identify the best route to compliance

The seminar will take place on 10 May 2017 at Invest Northern Ireland offices in Bedford Street, Belfast. Register for the CE marking for mechanical engineering seminar here.
