New Jobs for Northern Ireland Manufacturing and Technology Sectors

Manufacturing and technology businesses in Derry, Fermanagh and Omagh will be creating new jobs in Northern Ireland, thanks to support from Invest NI.

Struct Steel Engineering, Curran Gas and Greentown Traffic Management from Fermanagh and Omagh-based companies New Generation Agri and Oran Oak Engineering have been working with Invest NI to help grow their business.

The 31 new roles are being recruited across the five businesses, which operate in the manufacturing, engineering and service industries.

Elsewhere, Derry/Londonderry-based technology firm MetaCompliance is recruiting 69 new jobs over the next three years to help expand its worldwide sales and market presence.

The company develops software and creative content for the cyber security sector and is aiming to triple its turnover by capitalising on the demand for cloud-based cyber security products. The company is recruiting a combination of sales and IT roles to target prospective customers across Europe and the US.

Invest NI has offered MetaCompliance £652k towards the creation of the new jobs, of which 29 are already in place.
