Funding Support For Immersive Tourism Technology
New tourism capital funding programme for technology that enhances visitor experiences
Tourism NI have launched an immersive technology programme – ‘Enhancing Visitor Experiences through Immersive Technology 2018/2019’.
This new programme is a capital funding programme which aims to support the development of new immersive experiences. These technologies should create a compelling reason for visitors to come to Northern Ireland and enhance their experience whilst here.
The programme focuses on projects which have at their core an immersive technology solution that allows visitors to enjoy our stories and experiences in a new and engaging way.
This will include animation of the visitor experience at existing attractions and improvement of interpretation and storytelling so that attractions can tell their story creatively through innovative technology.

This programme is open to applications from 13 November 2018 and will close for applications at 11:00, 3 December 2018.
