Can you describe your business?
Our salon comes with over 20 years experience in the hair industry. Myself and the girls are passionate about delivering the highest standard of customer satisfaction, offering the latest services and styles of the season. Our aim is to lift your confidence, raise an eyebrow and have you happy inside and out. We have a wealth of knowledge in cutting for all genders and ages, colouring, up styles and get great pleasure in colour correction, putting right a wrong. In a relaxed newly refurbished salon, with private parking, you can be sure to leave your worries and stresses at the door.
Why did you start your own business?
From working in a salon at the age of 13, I’ve always had a love of hair dressing and always wanted to run a salon how I would like it to be run. To use the highest quality products and to create a professional and caring environment for my clients and staff, the only way to do this was to do it on my own.
What are the best things about running your own business?
I love the challenge of running my own business, meeting new clients, keeping the friendships I make along the way and seeing customers return time and time again. Being able to balance family and work life can be difficult but owning my own business makes it a little bit easier.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
Have a good head on your shoulders, be prepared to work hard and put in the hours, keep focused on the positives when things seem difficult, above all go with your gut, it’ll be worth it in the end!
