Can you describe your business?
Virginia’s Photography is a family photographer specialising in newborn and contemporary portraiture photography. My intention is to capture the soul in one frame because there is no better memory than a piece of you.
Why did you start your own business?
I felt the necessity to share my gift, photography is no other thing than capturing and showing your point of view. I wanted to create wonderful images, I wanted to show people how beautiful they are and give them the opportunity to treasure time, a memory, a piece of life.
What are the best things about running your own business?
The best thing is that you create your own workflow, you create your path there are many decisions to make and the reward is amazing. Also as photography is my passion I feel that I am not working, just enjoying life.
What are the main challenges facing the business?
The continuous search for new clients, professional photography is not something that people consume on a daily basis so I have to search constantly for new people.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
Be prepared for all the wonderful and frightening feelings you are going to feel. Having a business is a roller coaster of all your fears and desires. Sometimes you feel drained but the reward is always worth it, keep doing what makes you happy and be surrounded by
people who inspire you.
