Women Techmakers Belfast Summit 2018

Conference and workshops to shine light on inspiring women in technology

As part of a global event series, the Women Techmakers Summit will return to Belfast this April to celebrate International Women’s Day.

For those unfamiliar with Women Techmakers, this is Google’s global programme and brand for women in technology. It aims to raise awareness of innovative female leaders in technology and inspire others to join the field.

In its third Belfast edition, the summit will offer you two opportunities to get involved:

The conference will take place on Saturday 14 April 2018, celebrating the variety of roles and expertise of local women techmakers. It will feature an inspirational line up of speakers, offering you a packed schedule of short talks, longer talks and panel discussion – with some room for lunch, questions, and networking breaks.

Meet the Women Techmakers Belfast 2018 conference speakers.

The workshops, in conjunction with Women TechSpace Belfast, will take place on Friday 13 April 2018. The two-hour long sessions will run concurrently and you will be able to choose between:

  • iOS development for beginners
  • design thinking approach to blockchain
  • setting product goals with design thinking
  • agile delivery techniques
  • JavaScript development for everyone (self-led)
