Can you describe your business?
I offer make-up applications for all occasions.
Why did you start your own business?
From a young age I have had a huge interest in make-up and I always had the intention of opening my own salon. After completing courses with Make-Up pro store I decided it was the perfect opportunity to start.
What are the best things about running your own business?
I love the flexibility of working for myself, this way I can balance studying as I am currently doing a degree at university. When I see the end result of my clients it makes it all worthwhile.
What are the main challenges facing the business?
Ensuring that I keep up-to-date with current trends. This can be sometimes difficult at busy periods but my passion in the make-up industry helps me achieve this.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
Go for it! It will be worth the long hours and the hard work but keep positive, everything is achievable.
