Can you describe your business?
I can offer all aspects of hairstyling under one roof, including upstyles, cuts, colours, blow drying and curly blow drying.
Why did you start your own business?
From a young age I always wanted to run my own business. I was working in Creative Lochs for eight-and-a-half years which gave me the push to do it for myself. I also really enjoy making people feel amazing about themselves.
What are the best things about running your own business?
I find that the best thing is being able to work the hours you want and I also enjoy talking to the customers. I am also doing something that I always wanted to do!
What are the main challenges facing the business?
I would say the challenges in hairdressing are keeping your skills up-to-date and also ensuring that your clients are happy with the service.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
I would say to anyone thinking of starting their own business, just go for it. There are long hours, however it’s worth it and it’s also great being your own boss!
