Training For Those Who Trade With Retailers

Essential event from CAFRE and NIFDA on trading practices and relationships

The College of Agriculture, Food & Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) and the Northern Ireland Food & Drink Association (NIFDA) are hosting a training course on trading with retailers.

The event, which will be delivered by the British Brands Group, will cover training in the role of the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP) and Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA).

The training covers:

  • the GSCOP and why it was introduced
  • what the GSCOP covers
  • implications for day-to-day trading relationships
  • the role of the GCA
  • options available and how to safeguard against unfair trading practices

No pre-reading is required. At the end of the course you will receive key documents and guidance relating to the GSCOP and GCA.

Who should attend?
This event is tailored for commercial and sales directors, key account managers, regulatory and support staff involved in trading with supermarkets.

It is also available to all direct suppliers, whether of branded, private label or fresh products, irrespective of size.
