Can you describe your business?
I endeavor to help people help themselves on issues like anxiety, obsessions, low self esteem, depression, addiction, suicidal tendencies, bereavement and other mental troubles. I do this through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and in turn help them to feel better about themselves.
Why did you start your own business?
I was dismayed about the constant stories of young people taking their own lives especially those that where local and I thought if I could only save one I would make a difference and so stop a family from going through such turmoil.
What are the best things about running your own business?
So I could pursue a passion, a passion that I have to alleviate mental pain, new challenges every day and find new ways to stimulate my own mind and helping people improve their lives.
What are the main challenges facing the business?
The main challenge I have is attracting clients as there is still a dated stigma out there regarding mental health.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
Be sure that there is a market for what you want to sell and have a plan and never procrastinate.
