Why did you start your own business?
Having worked in the sign industry for over 20 years I had the experience and when the opportunity came up to own my own business, I took it. I’ve now being running the business since November 2018.
What are the best things about running your own business?
The end result, seeing each job progress from a drawing on screen to seeing it manufactured and then installed is by far the best.
What are the main challenges facing the business?
The main challenges is managing everything involved in the business. When you are employed you just do your job, however when you are managing the business you have everything to think about.
What advice would you give to someone starting a business?
Plan ahead and make sure you have good cashflow projections and be prepared to work hard 24/7.

Rewarding, crazy, exciting.
