Patent Searching Workshops

Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI), together with the European Patent Office (EPO), are holding two workshops in the specialist area of protecting intellectual property rights.
The workshops will help you understand how to use the EPO’s patents search engine Espacenet.
Espacenet is an essential business tool when developing new products with the database holding more than 90 million patent documents from around the world. With this tool, you can:
- search and find patent publications
- track the progress of emerging technologies
- find solutions to technical problems
- see what your competitors are developing
Hosted by an EPO expert, these workshops will highlight how proficient use of patent literature is an essential tool in improving innovation and knowledge management, offering attendees a great opportunity to advance in these critical areas.
